rising from the flames (& 55 year storage) bronze "worth" theatre atrium chandeliers
These chandeliers are from the Worth Theatre that once stood in Fort Worth, Texas. Built in 1927 and designed by Alfred Charles Finn, this was one of several theatres he designed in the art deco Egyptian revival motif. For several decades it offered both live and on-screen entertainment. The theatre was connected to the Worth Hotel, which had 300 rooms and several luxurious amenities. The theatre and hotel were torn down in 1972.
