These impressive chandeliers once hung at J. B. Hudson Jewelers in the Young Quinlan building off of Nicollet Mall. The building was built in 1926 by New York Architect Frederick Lee Ackerman for businesswoman Elizabeth Quinlan and her original clerk Fred Young. Quinlan’s love for Renaissance palazzos in Florence Italy inspired architect Frederick Lee Ackerman to design not just the building but also the light fixtures to go with. These impressive bronze chandeliers lit the Young Quinlan building until a renovation in 1985. The chandeliers are complimented with intricately frosted and cut glass panels, which softens the glow of the 12-light cluster inside the square body of the fixture.

We find that early antique lighting was designed as objects of art and we treat each fixture with careful attention to preserve original beauty. Our fixtures are cleaned, rewired, and restored & are ready to hang, following UL standards. We can work with you on code requirements.
