It was their high quality lighting fixtures of bronze, iron, silver, brass, and copper from the late 19th century to the mid 20th century. Visionaries of their design & significance fixture were archived with photographs as produced, the Smithsonian Institution is now home to the E.F. Caldwell & Co. archives, with over 50,000 images, 37,000 photographs and 13,000 original design drawings.
