This intricately carved buffet is made of lovely oak and features finely detailed hand carved floral accents, handsome original hardware and beveled glass within the center. The craftsmanship on this buffet is truly incredible! There are two keys for the upper cabinets and one key for the lower cabinet. Charles Eastlake's ideas were closely connected to the Arts and Crafts movement of the time, which rejected the increasingly mechanized process of architecture and design in favor of handmade and artisan products. Eastlake himself saw his style as being one of sturdy and simple craftsmanship.
