These incredible plaster columns are from the reproduction stock that was designed for the renovated Northrop auditorium and stage completed in 2014. The few pieces that we have were ones that didn’t make it into the final building for some small defect. These columns are reproductions of the original plaster work in the auditorium as seen in historical photos below. The half column is ornamented with Neo-Classical design in the same style as the original building itself designed by Clarence H. Johnston Sr. and Frederick Mann which was completed in 1930.
