Exquisite four light flush mount by esteemed manufacturer Bradley & Hubbard. Its lead construction gives it considerable heft for its petite size, while brass and silver plated details add a glamorous touch. Paired with calcite and aurene Steuben shades, whose shiny glow adds a dramatic flair.
Although Nathaniel Bradley, William Bradley, and Walter Hubbard started their Connecticut-based company in 1852, they did not begin to manufacture light fixtures until 1859, when oil was discovered in Pennsylvania. From there the business took off, with their growing list of products being marketed across the nation by traveling salesmen and in their own showrooms in New York, Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia. Today their name is synonymous with high quality craftsmanship and artistry.
*Please note that one shade is very, very slightly different from the others and features ribbing that is a degree more subtle.
We find that early antique lighting was designed as objects of art and we treat each fixture with careful attention to preserve original beauty. Our fixtures are cleaned, rewired, and restored & are ready to hang, following UL standards. We can work with you on code requirements.
