These simple fixtures come with curious details. The shades are painted white along the sides to give off a warm glow when lit and to push the light down. Simple ribs along the edge give off geometry in the light dispersion. The fitter itself looks simple but the mechanism inside makes them unique.
To take the shade off you unlock the chain and then push the chain down into the fitter.
To put back on just tuck the shade inside and “yank its chain.”

We find that early antique lighting was designed as objects of art and we treat each fixture with careful attention to preserve original beauty. Our fixtures are cleaned, rewired & are ready to hang, following UL standards. We can work with you on code requirements.
