This handsomely detailed 7 candle sconce once illuminated the Radio City Theater in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, MN. Featuring a lovely floral design, leafy candle cup holders and an ornately detailed backplate, this sconce is sure to add a touch of classical elegance to any space.

The Minnesota Theater, later renamed the Radio City Theater, opened in 1928 and was, at the time, the fifth largest theater in the country, with seating for over 4,000 in the huge auditorium. It was designed by the Chicago-based firm of Graven & Mayger in the French Renaissance style. It featured elaborate stage reviews, vaudeville acts, and motion pictures for over three decades.

We find that early antique lighting was designed as objects of art and we treat each fixture with careful attention to preserve original beauty. Our fixtures are cleaned, rewired & are ready to hang, following UL standards. We can work with you on code requirements.
