Although not attributed to a specific manufacturer, there are certain signs that this chandelier was created with a trained eye and is of the highest quality. The fine details include seamless, two-part shade holders, oval loops that gracefully hang from the elegant cast support brackets and the rich finish of red brass, complementing the original pulled feather shades, signed by Quezal. Quezal Art and Decorating Glass Company opened for business in 1902 by Martin Bach who originally worked at Tiffany Glass & Decorating Company as a chemist. Bach's experience and scientific technique led to an endless supply of designs and colors in hand-blown art glass.
