The sputnik! A essential design of the Atomic Age! The name comes from the Sputnik 1, the first artificial Earth satellite launched by the Soviet Union in 1957 which featured an orb base with two pairs of antennas. Our Sputnik has a brass orb center, and 14 tubular brass arms jutting out in all directions. Even though this light seems futuristic you can tell this chandelier has been around for a long time, modern reproductions can’t come close to this. This Sputnik was made by Lincoln Lighting Company and was acquired locally.
