Acanthus adorns the entirety of these sconces. From the detailed edge of each socket cover to the whole acanthus plant springing from the back plate with the sconce arms. A single arm points downward, a blossoming flower. The back plate is an ornamental shield, a feature in architectural sculpture referred to as a cartouche. The flower of the acanthus runs down along each side. These sconces are a brightening force in any space!
