red and gold duplexalite

red and gold duplexalite

2 available

AA# 47860

This Duplexalite is designed to improve the visibility of your surroundings. The bottom glass shade hangs about an inch from the metal shade above it, allowing light to be refracted from the outside of the metal shade, creating a mesmerizing glow. It also gives off minimal horizontal light, which is great for visibility as well. This Duplexalite is painted with elegant red and gold paint and decorated with curvy leaf motifs and a delicate tassel.

It's rumored that Al Capone had a few Duplexalites at his estate, as did the White House. Duplexalites were popular from the 1920's through the 1940's.
