The Main Attraction
This 29 foot tall x 12 foot wide chandelier is original to the auditorium's completion in 1929, and it dazzled visitors for 80 years. It's seen the likes of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., the People's Republic of China Ballet troupe, and Herbie Hancock, amongst hundreds of other influential figures in the world of music, dance, arts, and politics. Made of the finest materials available at the time and painted in beautiful blues, yellows, golds, and reds, the chandelier is a sight to behold and a true work of art.
