This authentic Arts & Crafts chandelier is a wonderful example of a well-crafted light. In response to mass-production and industrialization, the American Arts & Crafts movement stressed the creation of objects that were crafted from proper materials, had a simple design, drew upon medieval influences or conceptions of "simpler times," and were hand-crafted as a means of both ensuring high quality and providing enjoyment to the maker. This chandelier holds all of these idealistic qualities!

This chandelier is grand in scale and shape- the fixture alone measures over 27” in height and extends to 60” overall, with a heavy weight iron chain and original canopy. It was constructed from a myriad of materials. The body is made out of heavy weight iron, the lion, crane and knights head motifs are finely cast in brass, and original frosted glass completes the bottom of the fixture – when combined, these materials bring beauty and interest to this light fixture. The chandelier was also designed to light an area well, with 6 lamps handing down and 6 lamps within the fixture to illuminate the glass. Matching pair available.
