These days you'd be hard pressed to find even the most basic lock set in a hotel. Key cards are the norm, and, while convenient, they have zero personality. These lock sets, on the other hand, exude elegance and grandeur. They were originally a part of the Charlotte Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which was built in 1908. It featured 97 luxurious rooms and was later renamed the Kilbourn Hotel. Its demise came in 1968 when the structure was demolished to make room for a parking lot. 

These gorgeous cast brass exterior hardware sets survived, though. Each set comes with a mortise, large exterior door plate, smaller interior door plate, thumb turn, strike plate, spindle, and two knobs. They feature Yale & Towne's "Vigo" design of stylized foliage and flowers.
