Unique Art Deco bowl pendant by French designer Jean Noverdy. Twisted iron details and a dramatic finial reach down from the canopy, creating a pleasing contrast with the molded amber glass bowl, decorated with various geometric designs.
Jean Noverdy was based in Dijon, France. In the 1920’s and 1930’s, he specialized in art deco architecture. He was well-versed in glassmaking and used many techniques, such as acid-etching, to create memorable lighting fixtures.
