Quartersawn oak back bar
The lovingly crafted and enormous back bar is made of handsome quartersawn oak and features an intricately detailed hand carved wood design, handsome hardware and 5 cabinets offering plenty of storage. The back of the bar has wood paneling that could accommodate 2 to 4 large mirrors. At over 18 feet long, this bar would bring great beauty and presence to any space!
The incredible 14 foot curved oak judge’s bench front bar has recessed panels and detailed, carved columns flanking either side. Six drawers line the back, which is otherwise open, allowing for ample storage space.
The judge’s bench is from the Sheboygan County Courthouse in Wisconsin. The courthouse was designed by the Chicago architectural firm K.M. Vitzthum and Company, who gave the building its sleek geometric lines and modern looking structure. The courthouse’s furnishings are currently being remodeled, while the historic architectural elements, both interior and exterior, are being retained.
Please note that the front and back bars are two separate pieces from different eras and locations, therefore the wood colors and finishes are not an exact match. Despite the differences, these two pieces work wonderfully together!
