This incredible pantry unit features large amounts of shelving behind antique wavy glass. On one side tall cabinets hold the end of the piece, the lower one has built-ins for holding table leaves. The lower cabinet portion has 4 small single pull drawers and 3 two pull drawers. The drawer pulls and latches beautifully match the stain of this piece. Simple Victorian style cabinet latches hold the doors in place along with a birds beak latch on the inside of the double glass door section. Note that this unit is open at the back and unfinished on the edges, please see photos for details.

This pantry was salvaged from a local Twin Cities home built in 1905. The house was on the market for $1,195,000 on November 15, 2019, but sadly there was a fire on November 23 that started in the attic. This fire caused smoke and water damage that made its way down to the lower levels. The house was relisted in January at the price of $399,000. with the description stating: “Much admired brick 3-story has been FIRE & WATER DAMAGED & home is being sold AS-IS. Electrical fire started on 3rd floor. The property sustained fire damage to roof, & throughout the 3rd floor, & south side of 2nd and 1st floors.”

The house ended up selling for $462,000 on January 22nd. Because of the damage, in order to renovate the entire house had to gutted down to the studs. The new homeowner decided the best option would be to contact us to take out the most important pieces of the house to save them for reuse in a new home. It took three employees three days to carefully salvage these rooms from the home. Each piece of trim and paneling is removed, individually labeled, and neatly packed up to go back to our store. Once the items come back to the store, we sort through the pieces and rebuild the rooms piece by piece just as they were originally installed in the home. Please contact our store for shipping options.

We also were able to salvage the dining room from this salvage as well.
