This cast of characters would have adorned some portion of a library and fit snuggly up against the edge of an interior cornice. Variations in hair, hats, and facial hair make each one unique. Looking closely though you can see repetitions of certain character types that bring uniformity to such a cast. Age and wear also make each one of a kind.
