Orni Halloween was the pseudonym that Ernesto Gismondi, co-founder the of Italy’s Artemide Group used at the beginning of his design career. A trained aeronautical engineer - one would say he is the rocket scientist of lighting as he keeps an open mind in regards to design and believes in research, you can find ‘the dream world’. From Artemide’s inception, they looked to notable architects to partner with one being Gio Ponti. From this partnership Gismondi - or Orni Halloween references Ponti’s 1946 chandelier in the 1990’s.
Made of Italian hand blown glass, Halloween creates his chandelier with eight multi-colored arms that curves and extends out to create a playful chandelier in bright colors of yellow, blue, red and green.
