bradley & hubbard brass sconce pair

bradley & hubbard brass sconce pair

1 pair available

AA# 47320

These graceful Bradley & Hubbard single candle sconces make a striking pair. A pull chain hangs delicately from one side, while egg and dart details encircle the candle cover and back plate. A rich black finish accentuates the natural brass details, adding distinct contrast.

Although Nathaniel Bradley, William Bradley, and Walter Hubbard started their Connecticut-based company in 1852, they did not begin to manufacture light fixtures until 1859, when oil was discovered in Pennsylvania. From there the business took off, with their growing list of products being marketed across the nation by traveling salesmen and in their own showrooms in New York, Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia. Today, rare Bradley & Hubbard light fixtures can go for as much as $4,000-5,000!

*Please note that these sconces are sold as a pair.
