This lock set includes Gothic style detail and ornamentation including the quatrefoil shape in the knob, the crockets at the top and base, the foliage details, and the lancet shaped window as the main portion of the face. It even includes a very small detail of a fleur-de-lis and shield, referencing symbols commonly seen in French cathedrals. This Gothic revival style lock set, was patented on June 6, 1899 by Theodore Kanell. This lock system was used for many brass lock sets that had a large variety of Victorian style ornamentation. Take advantage of the high quality work put into this lock set, and embellish your door with an intricate design.
